About the Event
Join us on Wednesday, April 15th at 19:30 at the Safed English Library (38 Jerusalem Street, Tzfat) for a meaningful Yom HaShoah program.
We will honour the memory of the Tiano and Versano families of Thessaloniki, Greece, through the personal story of their daughter and granddaughter, Dorothy Melvin of Tzfat. Her account brings forward often overlooked histories of Jewish communities from the Mediterranean region during the Shoah.
This is an opportunity to remember, to learn, and to connect with stories that deserve to be heard.
The program is open to all, and your presence would mean a great deal.
A gentle reminder: the Library operates entirely on donations. Contributions, if you’re able, help us continue offering programs like this for the community.
